Can you ever have too much inspiration for a living room makeover? We didn’t think so, either, which is why we asked two of our in-house set stylists—Darci and Amanda—to put their own unique spin on our beautifully neutral Rank Sofa with their choice of accessories. The result? Two inspiring living room looks to consider for your home.

Read on to learn more about how Darci and Amanda styled their unique looks for this inspiring living room setup.

Darci’s Look

“My immediate thought for this room was contrast—I wanted to add contrast with colors and shapes. Dramatic grays and blacks paired with neutral tones and a touch of metal give the room a modern, yet comfortable feel.

I knew I wanted to use an accent chair with some curve to balance out the contemporary, clean-lined sofa. The metal nailheads and tufting on the chair add a layer of sophistication. I carried the touch of metal around on the lamp and artwork.

I kept the coffee table contemporary and clean-lined, with hidden added functions. The top lifts up to become a desk or dining area, and it has extra storage inside.”

Amanda’s Look

“I really wanted to liven up the neutral look of the Rank Sofa and to bring out the gold tones in the pillows. Incorporating accessory pieces with bold blues, touches of gold, and clean modern lines helped to achieve that.

The bold blues and gold in the Mountain Wall Décor really caught my eye, and I thought it would do the trick. I added the Veda Table Lamps and a gold sculptural piece to bring out the touches of gold in the artwork and in the sofa pillows.

Playing off the modern vibe of the lamps, I chose the London Cocktail Table and London End Tables for their clean, modern lines. I finished the look with a neutral rug, books, and succulents.”
