A collaboration between our brand and our sister brand, August Haven, our talented display team refreshes these sets in our Green Bay and Appleton locations with every changing season to provide seasonal inspiration and showcase some of the fantastic furniture and décor that you can bring home.

We were fortunate enough to catch up with Katie—the newest member of our display team and one of the masterminds behind this season’s holiday-inspired brand entanglement sets—to get her thoughts and inspiration behind the design so that you, too, can achieve a similar look at home.

Home-spun for the Holidays

As we are spending more time in our homes this year, I feel there has been a great necessity for comfort and joy! My approach to styling each new Entanglement set is creating a collaboration between WG&R and August Haven, combining time-worn elements and pieces of furniture with timeless, classic staples to achieve a collaborative look.

The inspiration for “Home-spun for the Holidays” comes from ongoing style trends of mixed media with cozy elements for the winter months. Tips for achieving this look are very simple, such as updating your throw pillows on your sofa or bed for the holiday and adding in sprinkles of greenery throughout your home.

A touch of red adds a traditional element, while classic, neutral plaid could be used any time of year, but when combining the two you achieve a collaborative, cozy look. Also mixing in texture through throw blankets, pillows, baskets and greenery adds interest to the palette. This look can be more than just for the holidays: remove the red touches throughout and you have an effortless, cozy winter look all season long!
