Product Description
- This collection is proudly crafted by over 500 skilled artisans in the Virginia mountains. Using solid American Oak and Oak veneers, we focus on honest materials and time-honored techniques to create furniture that’s as durable as it is beautiful. This bed is inspired by the construction of an antiqued, hand hewn canoe. Designed for those who appreciate the natural, reclaimed wood look, each piece highlights the unique character of the wood—splits, cracks, knots, and bold grain patterns—brought to life with our exclusive ATAP™ (Accelerate the Aging Process) technology. Vaughan Bassett believes in responsible craftsmanship. That’s why they plant a tree for every one they use. Over the past decade, they’ve planted more than 1.5 million trees—because sustainability matters just as much as quality.
