Since 1984, our WG&R Mattress Factory in Two Rivers, WI, has consistently produced quality mattresses at affordable, factory-direct prices.  While we believe in the quality and value that each of our Factory Direct mattresses offers, we are especially excited about August Haven, the latest addition to our lineup.

For an entire year, the skilled team at our mattress factory worked on conceptualizing, designing, and building the new August Haven mattress line to perfection.  Handcrafted completely in-house, August Haven is modeled after mattress lines offered by high-end luxury brands without the standard high markups.  With a combination of quality materials – many of which are locally sourced – and meticulous attention to detail, we are able to produce a luxurious mattress line at factory-direct prices.  So let us formally introduce Eminence, Tranquility, and Haven, the first three August Haven mattresses to debut in our WG&R Sleep Shops.

So what makes each August Haven mattress special? From the high-density coil count to the skillfully applied hand-tufting, every detail that goes into an August Haven mattress adds to its superior quality, comfort, and durability. Each mattress is handcrafted with the finest materials, many of which are locally sourced.  A combination of latex, firm or plush support foam, cooling foam, and the highest coil count we produce all work together to create supreme comfort.

From start to finish, an August Haven mattress takes one hour to build (the standard mattress in our factory takes about 15 minutes, by comparison).  Half of that time is spent on hand-tufting – an industry standard for quality, support, and longevity.  Haven, our most high-end model in the line, receives 26 tufts on the queen size mattress alone.  Watch two of our tufting experts hand-tuft a Haven mattress in production:
